The Golf House

Korea, Bear River

2015

This residence is an intentional exploration of elemental design, where stone, water, and wood define the unique identity of every living space. The "water" element is centered around a tranquil indoor spa that appears to merge with the horizon through floor-to-ceiling glass, creating a seamless connection to the sunset views outside. Dramatic "stone" accents, featured in textured walls and structural ceiling details, provide a sense of permanence and grounded luxury to the formal dining and lounge areas. "Wood" serves as the vital organic warmth of the home, appearing in polished ceiling panels and hand-crafted furniture that soften the grand architectural lines. Together, these three materials transform the house into a sensory sanctuary that remains in constant dialogue with its natural surroundings.
