Love House N10
Korea, Bundang
2021
Situated on an exceptionally narrow plot, the structure is defined by a central curved void that carves through the concrete mass, allowing sunlight, moonlight, and rain to enter the living spaces directly. This intentional lack of traditional windows creates a profound sense of privacy and seclusion from the dense city while simultaneously fostering a deep, primitive connection to the natural world.
The interior is organized around a winding "Rabbit Way" that guides residents through a fluid sequence of spaces, where the boundaries between inside and outside are purposefully blurred. By utilizing soaring ceilings and strategic light-wells, the design ensures that the small footprint feels expansive and ever-changing according to the time of day and the weather. The Love House serves as a testament to our firm’s belief that architecture should be a sensory experience, proving that even the most restricted urban sites can be transformed into a soulful sanctuary.
